Y’s for men

Past Harajuku Station along Omotesando, across Meiji-dori and Aoyama-dori, then turning right at the Nezu Museum, you'll find a quietly styled flagship store on the right hand side. This area has become a fashion street, lined with notable shops such as Comme des Garçons Homme, JUNKO boutique, and the Amber House Gallery. Through the large windows, you can see the simple interior where products are neatly arranged, with casual touches like furniture by SAZABY. The store's atmosphere encourages visitors to take their time and choose at ease until they find what suits them. Pants in monochrome and earth-tone gradients, as well as this A
utumn's new items and leather pieces, are available. Address: 6-2-7 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Phone: (03) 498-3404

Formal Dress Occasion Invitation part 2 — If you were invited to go out in an “updated style”, what would you do?

Today's students possess a unique perspective on fashion. Wanting to explore their sense of dress-up style, the editorial team sent out invitations that read: “Please come dressed in your updated style."

① Outfit Breakdown:
The jacket is from Y's Ladies, pants from Arrston Volaju, shirt and belt from Y's for men, scarf from Comme des Garçons Homme, and shoes from Orange Room.

② Fashion Philosophy:
“I'm fine with clothing that reflects my lifestyle. I own a lot of items from Y's. I like it because it's loose-fitting and comfortable to wear, though I think it's expensive. I don’t want to get caught up in Waseda’s typical fashion style, so I tend to wear clothes like Y's or Pashu, which offer more room for creative expression.”

Places he often visits:
For discos: Monkberries and Climax. He has a sweet tooth, so he frequents F and Est. Also enjoys live music at venues like L.A., On Sundays, and Penguin Café.

Hobbies and Future Goals:
He’s part of the tennis club and the fashion research club. In the future, he wants to pursue a career that makes use of his legal studies — ideally, he wants to become a lawyer.

Ryuichi Sakamoto

On stage, he wears makeup.
But this is his bare face.
Who can say for sure which is the real him?

First, there is sound. Captivated,
I listen to that sound.
Afterwards, I am empty,
and abandon and idleness give me rest.
