notes early '00s slacks from y's for men with a slimmer cut that is reflective of the era. fabric features black and grey melange yarns for the warp and weft with a glossy, luxurious surface finish and a looser weave for breathability. while some trousers with a generous rise can be worn high or low on the body as desired, its lack of pleats at the waist - a flat front - results in a closer fitting upper area which is specifically intended to sit at a higher waistline. as such it is recommended for those with slimmer hips and midsection, no larger than a waist 30 or 31. the leg retains its original full length, but the previous owner has had 8cm or 3 inches cuffed towards the inside and finished with invisible handstitching. this amount can be let out if desired, and / or finished to your preferred length. the center pressed legs also give it a slightly more tapered silhouette but they can be ironed or steamed out if desired. worn in a full set with the matching jacket, the silhouette begins with an anchored, structured sensibility at the padded shoulders, and gradually tapers down towards the pant hem for a slick attitude.
