for me this is the perfect archetype for a 3 buttoned jacket with structure. older yohji tailoring with shoulder padding and interior interfacing can feel bulky and disproportionate in the modern age, but this jacket from the early '00s has just the right amount of padding for a sharp and confident look. the fabric is quite rare and simply extraordinary, a luscious wool imbued with the organic irregularities and tactile qualities of linen that are sure to gain character over time. the interior features exceptionally clean seams with a handstitched finish. tagged size large but can also accommodate mediums and even smalls depending on desired look.
