issue of japan's oldest mens fashion magazine danshi senka, or "dansen" covering the early days of the domestic designer boom leading up to the peak of the economic bubble. it is interesting to note that much of the fashions look quite dated now, with the exception of some y's for men items featured in select editorials that still appear desirable today. a living embodiment of this timelessness is captured in a street style segment which features a young man dressed head to toe in a y's for men look, standing out amongst the crowd with effortless sophistication.

All items by Y's for men ★ It's subtle, but I guess you could call it a boundless sense. He really understands the Y's vibe when he wears it. Even the way he casually drapes the jacket over his shoulders is spot on.
