Relaxed cut waistcoat in heavyweight cotton. Features a 5 button cutaway front, a flap ticket pocket, split side seams, and a buckled back in linen slub. Finished with a fully lined interior in a contrast color of the same linen.

Exceptional piece of tailoring from my personal collection. Waistcoats can sometimes look like costume but the dark, muted navy and brown tonal buttons help this piece steer away from being too formal. Phenomenal cut with a gently curved cutaway front that looks great opened or closed, and with any number of buttons done up. The raised back also creates a really nice side profile and back shape. The linen used for the lining and back have gorgeous organic texture full of irregular slub, and the sense of volume throughout the sides and back are perfectly restrained and gathered with the two prong buckled strap. Surprisingly versatile - works great over base layers, shirting, light jackets, under coats. Either the cotton or linen fabric may be piece dyed as per the care label, so you may be able to expect some nice aging over time.
