Garment dyed field coat in mediumweight wool flannel. Features dropped shoulders, button collar clasp, drawstring waist, and a single back vent. Finished with a fully lined interior in luxurious cupro.

Special piece from Autumn / Winter 2001 reminiscent of European military field coats. Gorgeous shade of bluish grey with a depth that can only be achieved through garment dyeing. The buttons in particular have taken the dye in nicely with a distinctive blue tone. It's also softened the wool fibres and given it a worn in, breathing presence. Exquisite silhouette with a subdued sense of volume and effortless drape. The lining is constructed with an open end that allows it to peek out below the hem. It is held in place at the hem with hand finished bar stitching, which can be cut if desired to let the lining flow more freely in shape. Plenty of room to layer underneath.
